Just outside the little village of Otisville, past the school and around the corner sits a sleepy little farm. She may not look like much from the road but just you wait. If you decide to stop in you’ll find lots of friendly people, the tastiest milk you can buy and the freshest yogurt and kefir. This is Freedom Hill Farm. The farm first came into the family in the 1930’s when it was bought by Rick’s great grandfather as Vreelands Farm. Passed down through a few generations, fast forward to 2007 and the farm was renamed Freedom Hill Farm when Rick brought cows back to the old barn after a few years of dormancy. After being given a vision by the Lord in 2006 Rick and Julie knew what they had to do: share their faith and their love for cows with others by making fresh raw dairy in a way that honors both the animals and the Lord. Since then, the farm has grown to 30+ cows and has helped bring people together. It has been the home of several rebirths for christians and many customers will attest to the healing power of the milk and probiotic kefir and yogurt. It is a second home to all who work there, surrounding them with love and support. So whether you are looking for raw milk to help heal, or if you’d like to visit the calves and take a few minutes to breath in this fast paced world, or if you’re seeking something more, stop in, grab a cup of milk and enjoy the farm that welcomes people from all walks of life.

My husband and I love getting our milk from Freedom Hill Farm! It’s so fresh and tastes like real milk…because it is! The store which has opened and offers so many locally grown and made is a joy to visit when we go to pick up our milk. Thank you Rick and Julie for taking on the farming life and offering our community back to basics nutrition. And a big thank you to the cows that provide the milk and milk products that we know enjoy. God Bless you all!!!
